Something green

For my something green today, my grandmother sent me these lovely photos of remarkable trees. They are truly stunning.

Oliver Jeffers

Loving irish illustrator Oliver Jeffers work (famous for the popular children´s book: Lost and Found.) I really like the colour palette and textures he uses.
I´d love to get the last two items: an illustrated map of the world, and his new book The heart and the bottle (which sounds really sweet). Check out his website for more lovely illustrations.

Bright Star

Last night I watched Bright Star based on the life of Keats. I didn´t care much for the script or the storyline, but I was mesmerized by the photography, the gorgeous scenery and lighting. The lighting is really exquisite. I was also quite taken by the costume design, especially the pieces worn by Fanny. Very femenine and graceful. Unfortunately I haven´t found images of the moments I loved so much, so I´d recommend watching the movie, if you can stand it being a bit slow, the images are quite breathtaking. I haven´t seen such a beautiful movie in a while.

Redesigning

For the past few months I´ve been working on redesigning the magazine for the editorial I work for. The magazine is directed to christian leadership in Latinamerica, and was extremely traditional and a little outdated. I´m very happy with the new image I´ve created.
