Brilliant photography by Eric Wolfinger. I´m loving the rustic masculine feeling to these photos.

California Dreaming

I´m off to California tomorrow and very excited to be going. This trip is special because I was born in Pasadena and never went back. I´m so looking forward to it!

Salta

We were also able to visit Salta "La Linda" and it really is a beautiful city. I´m afraid we got a bit lazy with our pictures so there aren´t that many of the city, still this was one of my favourite places and definitely worth a visit.

Jujuy

I´m finally back from vacations and here are a few photos from our trip. These are from the colorful Tilcara, Purmamarca and Salinas Grandes in Jujuy.  I´d highly recommend visiting the Salinas Grandes, it is one of the most impressive landscapes I´ve ever seen.

Away, somewhere

These lovely photographs by Jasmine Van Hevel, really make me long to travel somewhere soon. I think there is something quiet, yet strong about her photographs; they instantly evoke memories, places and sensations. Beautifully captured details of places that are somewhere, but could be anywhere.

On the road

Here are some photos I took on the road to Bariloche, about 150 km. before arriving. I´d never gone south in autumn, and I was surprised by the array of colours. Simply gorgeous!

Bariloche

At this very moment I´m travelling to Bariloche with my family, to celebrate my Grandmother´s 80th birthday and a very dear friend´s wedding.  It´s quite a long trip, but I´m excited to see the family, and once again take in the wonderful scenery. I´ve spent many of my childhood summers with my cousins there, but I never cease to be amazed by the breathtaking landscapes. It´s a place that´s very dear to my heart.

And...we´re back!

(Beautiful forests)
(Delicious breakfasts and lovely details at Maresía)
(Love being together and spending time with you!)
(More lovely details)
(Warm sunset)
(A friendly visitor; sandy and sunny days)
We just came back from some short vacations at Mar Azul. We stayed at a lovely little place on the beach, called Maresía, which I highly recommend. We loved this little place with it´s homey touches, great service and prices. We had a lovely time and I´m very glad we were able to rest for a few days.
Now we´re slowly returning to the everyday rythm...

Sagrada Familia

Last year I had the wonderful privilege of visiting the Sagrada Familia, in Barcelona. It is one of the most amazing things I´ve ever seen!. When Gaudi designed it, he studied the shapes and lines found in nature, and imitated them in the lines of the church, so that the people who went to church could find every day elements on the walls and ceilings, and feel like they were outdoors worshipping God together with all creation. The amount of details is incredible! If you ever have the chance of visiting Barcelona, I highly recommend it!

Ps. It is still a work in progress, so we hope to see it someday when it´s completed!
